What does Skio do?

Skio simplifies subscription management, making it easy to launch, manage, and optimize recurring orders. With the Skio + rediem integration, you can:

  • Reward customers for subscription milestones.

  • Offer discounts on subscription products.

  • Enhance retention by giving subscribers extra value with loyalty points or rewards.


How to integrate Skio with rediem

Step 1: Generate a Skio API token

  • Log in to your Skio account.

  • Navigate to Account > API.

  • Generate an API key.

Step 2: Connect a Skio API Key to rediem

  • In your rediem dashboard, go to Integrations.

  • Select Skio from the list.

  • Enter your API key and click Validate.

Checking your Skio subscription settings

Before enabling rewards, confirm that your subscription products in Skio are set up correctly:

  • Products are active.

  • Billing intervals and pricing are configured.

  • Discounts are applied correctly to subscription products.

📋 Note: The Skio integration supports both one-time and recurring discounts for subscriptions.


Setting up subscription rewards

Once integrated, you can configure subscription rewards in rediem.

Steps to create a subscription reward:

  1. In your rediem dashboard, go to Program → Points.

  2. Click Add Ways to Redeem.

  3. Select Subscription Reward.

  4. Configure details:

    • Reward Name (e.g., “Save on Your Next Subscription”)

    • Reward Icon (optional)

    • Reward Value (points cost or discount)

  5. Save your changes.

📝 Pro Tip: Offer tailored rewards for different subscription plans or lengths to keep customers engaged long-term.


How customers redeem subscription rewards

  1. Customers log in to their store account.

  2. Open the Loyalty Dashboard → Redeem.

  3. Select the Skio subscription reward.

  4. Apply it to their next subscription order.

📋 Note: Subscription rewards only apply to products configured as subscriptions in Skio.
