To set up the integration, ensure you have the following:
A valid Stay AI API key with the following permissions:
Read Orders
Read Selling Plan Groups
Read Subscriptions
Update Subscriptions
Read Webhooks
Update Webhooks
Subscription products are already configured in your Stay AI account.
How to integrate Stay AI with rediem
Step 1: Generate a Stay AI API token
Log in to your Stay AI account and generate an API token.
Ensure the token has the appropriate permissions for the integration to work smoothly. Refer to the Stay AI documentation for detailed steps on generating API Keys.
Navigate to Settings → API Keys
Step 2: Connect Stay AI to rediem
Navigate to the Integrations page in your rediem dashboard.
Select Stay AI from the list of available integrations.
Enter your Stay AI API key in the provided field and click Validate.
Checking Your Stay AI Subscription Settings
Before setting up rewards, confirm that your Stay AI subscription products are properly configured. This includes:
Ensuring subscription products are active.
Verifying pricing tiers and billing intervals.
Confirming discount eligibility for subscription products.
Note: Stay AI’s integration supports both one-time and recurring discounts for subscription products. Ensure the applicable discount type is set up correctly in your Stay AI admin.
Setting up Subscription Rewards
Once the integration is complete, you can set up rewards to apply to active subscription orders in rediem.
Steps to Create Subscription Rewards:
Go to Program → Points in your rediem dashboard.
Click the Add Ways to Redeem button.
Select Order Discount, Amount Discount, or Percent Discount from the basic reward options.
Configure the reward for subscribers by scrolling to Purchase Type and selecting Subscription or Both from the drop-down.
How Customers Redeem Subscription Rewards
Customers can redeem their subscription rewards by following these steps:
Log in to their account on your store.
Navigate to the Loyalty Dashboard and select Redeem.
Choose the Order, Amount, or Percent Discount.
Select Active Subscription from the drop-down.
Note: If a customer has multiple active subscriptions with different delivery schedules and redeems an order discount coupon, the coupon will be automatically applied to the highest-priced subscription.
If the customer later cancels the subscription to which the coupon was applied, the coupon will not be transferred to another active subscription. The coupon will remain associated with the canceled subscription, and the points used to redeem it will not be refunded to the customer.
