How It Works
The Loyalty Analytics dashboard reports on loyalty program performance. Data refreshes every 24 hours, and a date range can be selected to control the reporting window.
Loyalty Revenue
Loyalty Revenue shows the revenue generated from all loyalty members.
Redemption Revenue shows the revenue generated directly from redeemed coupon codes.
Revenue Penetration compares revenue from loyalty members to total revenue, calculated as revenue from loyalty members divided by total revenue.
All-Time Metrics
Total Loyalty Members shows the customers who have signed up for the loyalty program.
Sign-Up Rate compares loyalty members to the total number of customers, calculated as loyalty members divided by total customers.
Total Active Loyalty Members shows customers who have a Shopify account and have taken at least one action other than a purchase.
Engagement Rate is calculated as total loyalty actions divided by unique sessions.
Total Loyalty Action counts any action or redemption taken by a loyalty member, excluding purchases. This figure feeds into the engagement calculation, which divides total loyalty actions by sign-ups.

Example Walkthrough
The following examples use round numbers to illustrate how key rates are calculated. Figures are for illustration only.
Revenue Penetration Total revenue: $10,000. Revenue from loyalty members: $4,000. Revenue Penetration = $4,000 ÷ $10,000 = 40%.
Sign-Up Rate Total customers: 1,000. Loyalty members: 250. Sign-Up Rate = 250 ÷ 1,000 = 25%.
Engagement Rate Total loyalty actions: 600. Unique sessions: 300. Engagement Rate = 600 ÷ 300 = 2 actions per session.
Redemption Rate Total acquired points by all loyalty members: 50,000. Redeemed points: 12,500. Redemption Rate = 12,500 ÷ 50,000 = 25%.
Key Notes
Loyalty Analytics data refreshes every 24 hours and supports a custom date range.
Revenue Penetration, Sign-Up Rate, Engagement Rate, and Redemption Rate are all calculated ratios, not raw counts.
Active Users and Repeat Purchase Rate use different windows: Active Users covers the last 90 days, while Repeat Purchase Rate is all-time.
Monthly Reports can be exported on demand or scheduled to an email address.
Total Loyalty Action and Redemption Rate both exclude purchases from the action count but include redemptions.
