Overview


How It Works

Community Reactions enable customers to respond to posts using emojis. Once enabled, each post displays a set of reaction emojis that customers can select. Customers can view available emojis, see total reaction counts, and select multiple reactions on a single post.

Setup

  1. Go to Community β†’ Approvals β†’ Reactions β†’ Edit.

  2. Toggle on Enable emoji reactions.

Changes apply immediately to all new posts. The feature is off by default and can be enabled at any time. Enabling it has no effect on existing posts.

πŸ“‹ Note: A minimum of 6 emojis must be active at all times.

Managing Emojis

A default emoji pack is available out of the box. Brands can also customize emojis to match brand identity or support seasonal campaigns.

New or updated emojis apply to future posts only. Existing posts always retain their original emoji set.

Shown On

Community Reactions appear on all posts created after the feature is enabled. A reaction bar displays below each post showing available emojis, reaction counts, and the customer's selected reactions.

Why Use It

Community Reactions give customers a fast, low-effort way to engage with posts. Custom emojis let brands reinforce their identity directly in the community feed. Use this feature in combination with Brand Profiles to poll your community.
