How It Works
Brand Profile
A Brand Profile represents the identity used when posting in the community. Each profile has its own Display Name, Bio, Display Photo, and verification status. Use a Brand Profile for a brand founder, a brand mascot, or a guest such as a celebrity cameo.
Brand Post
A Brand Post is a piece of content published to the community using a selected Brand Profile. Use Brand Posts to share updates, announcements, or other content with customers. Assign one or more channels to a post to categorize it in the community feed. A channel is a hashtag-style label, such as #Action or #Question, that groups related posts together.
Brand Posts are displayed in the community feed. Each post shows the brand profile name, verification badge, content, image, and associated channels.
Brand Comments
Add a comment to an approved customer post using a Brand Profile. Adding a comment requires at least one Branding Profile. The action fails without one.
Only one brand comment can be added to each post. After a comment is added, the merchant who added it receives an email notification containing the comment.
Only approved customer posts support brand comments. Pending posts, rejected posts, and brand posts do not open the comment panel when selected.
Brand comments appear in the dashboard under the corresponding post. Click New Comment to view a comment. Posts without a brand comment do not open the comment panel through the New Comment button. Customers can react to brand comments.
📋 Note: Edit an existing brand comment at any time. See Editing a Brand Comment under How To Set It Up.
