Adding and Subtracting Points from Customers' Profiles

Surprise and delight customers or allow CX teams to manually fix customer complaints

Introduction

With rediem, you can choose to surprise and delight your more loyal customers by adding points to their loyalty accounts. You can also manually adjust customers' points based on CX tickets.

Overview


Manual Points Adjustment

To address specific customer needs, points can be added and subtracted on a per-customer basis.

Step 1: Navigate to the "Customers" tab in the rediem backend.

​Step 2: Search for the customer's email.

Step 3: Click on the customer's name

Step 4: Click "Adjust balance" under "Points" on the right side of the screen.

Step 5: Insert Points adjustment (use negative points to subtract from the customer's point balance), Readon for adjustment (for internal use), and an optional customer-facing note.

Step 6: Click "Adjust Points" to save the customer point adjustment.

Bulk Points Upload

If you have a large group of customers that you want to add or remove points from their accounts, you can do so by uploading an Excel sheet.

Step 1: Navigate to the "Customers" tab in the rediem backend.

Step 2: Select Adjust Points in the top right corner.

Step 3: Download the template.

Step 4: Input customer email addresses, reward points, and an optional note.

Step 5: Upload the completed sheet.
