Key Notes
How It Works
The leaderboard shows customers how they rank against others in the loyalty program, based on the lifetime points they have. Each customer sees their own rank and total points, so they always know how close they are to the top.
The leaderboard has three views: All-Time, Monthly, and Weekly. The Featured Time Interval setting controls which of these views customers can see, so select any 1, 2, or all 3.
Monthly and Weekly views reset regularly, which gives newer customers a real chance to reach the top instead of competing against long-time members. Use these shorter views to run limited-time challenges with their own rewards for the top finishers.
đ Note: Customers excluded from the program or with deleted accounts do not appear in leaderboard rankings or exports.
Top Performer Badges
Customers near the top of the leaderboard earn a badge on their profile. Badges go to the top 1%, top 5%, top 10%, and top 20% of customers, based on their all-time points.
Data Cleanup Rules
Older leaderboard data clears out automatically to keep things running smoothly.
Weekly data covers the last 3 weeks.
Monthly data covers the last 2 months.
All-Time data is kept forever.
Embedding Leaderboard as a Nudge
Add the leaderboard to a website or community page to show off top customers and encourage engagement beyond the customer dashboard. Follow the setup steps in the nudges article to configure the leaderboard nudge.
How To Set It Up
Go to Community Settings â Leaderboard Settings.
Enable Display Leaderboard to make the leaderboard visible to customers.
Enable Calculate Leaderboard to allow ranking data to be processed and stored.
Select the Featured Time Interval to choose which views customers see. Select All Time, Weekly, and Monthly together, or select any 1 or 2 of them.
Click Save.
â ď¸ Important: Calculate Leaderboard cannot be disabled while Display Leaderboard is enabled. Disable Display Leaderboard first to turn off ranking calculations. If both settings are disabled, the leaderboard does not display on the storefront.
Customers see the leaderboard as a module embedded on the loyalty dashboard. The All Time, Weekly, and Monthly tabs let customers switch views, and Your Current Place shows the customer's own rank at the top of the list.
